St Patrick’s Day Mass

The Annual St Patrick’s Day Mass, organised by the St Patrick’s Day Parade Association, will be celebrated again this year in the Cathedral of St Stephen, Elizabeth Street at 10.00am on 17 March 2025. Fr Gerard McMorrow will be the celebrant.

All are welcome to attend. And, for those who may be unable to do so, the Mass will be live-streamed on this link – https://www.youtube.com/@ArchdioceseofBrisbane

• Reconciliation is on each weekend Saturday at 5:00pm – Mater Dei and Sunday 4:30pm – St Peter Chanel. 
• Communion of the Sick at Home and Home Visits available upon request.
• Sacramental Program involving Confirmation, First Communion (Eucharist) and First Reconciliation (Confession) scheduled periodically. Baptismal Preparations every Third Sunday, 3 pm at SPC.

First Holy Communion Program 2025

• For children in Year 4 and above who have been baptised and confirmed
• This program is beginning NOW – please contact the Parish Office

• First Holy Communion will be celebrated on:
  • Weekends: 5^th/6^th; 12^th/13^th; 26^th/27^th April & 10^th/11^th May

Confirmation Program 2025

 For children in Year 3 and above who have been baptised

• Begins with a parent information evening in July
• Four workshops attended by both parents/carer and children
• Confirmation will be celebrated in September

Penance/Reconciliation Program 2025

• For children in Year 5 and above who have been baptised, confirmed and received their First Communion
• Begins with a parent information evening in October
• Two workshops attended by both parents/carers and children
• First Rite of Reconciliation is held early-mid November
